The position.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Facade Structural Engineer to join our growing facade consultancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven professional to take a leading role in the delivery of complex, high-profile facade projects across Europe and beyond.

 Working within a collaborative and expert team, you will provide structural engineering expertise across the full project lifecycle — from concept and design development through to fabrication support and site delivery. You will also be involved in diagnostic services, including supporting our lead expert (s) in litigation appointments in relation to structural defects/failures.

 This is a full-time hybrid role based at our Engineering Hub in Wrocław (Poland), with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. Some (limited) travel to the UK may be required.

Key responsibilities.

• Lead the structural engineering of facade systems including unitised curtain wall, rainscreen cladding, structural glazing, masonry, stone cladding, and bespoke architectural envelopes.

• Produce and review structural calculations, technical reports, and specifications to relevant Eurocodes and international standards

• Liaise directly with architects, main contractors, and specialist subcontractors, acting as a trusted technical advisor

• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, programme, and client expectations are met

• Contribute to business development, tender submissions, and client relationships

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes, particularly EN 1990, EN 1991, and EN 1993

• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. Dlubal, Strand 7, Robot, or similar)

• Experience with a broad range of facade systems and materials, ideally with experience of the UK market.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Qualifications and experience.

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent); Master's preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facade or building envelope engineering

• Chartered status (MIStructE, CEng, or equivalent European accreditation) is desirable
